Lael is a writer & Director.
Her award winning films have played top tier festivals around the world including Fantasia International Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, Palm Springs Shortsfest and more. She is a Film Independent fellow and received a Vimeo Staff Pick, and her films have been featured in publications such as Rolling Stone, Yahoo, and The Seattle Times. Her commercial work has won several awards including an Emmy™.
Blending a background of experience both in the commercial and independent film space, she specializes in narrative-forward, live action work.
In addition to writing & directing, Lael’s practical SFX design work is featured in the short film Dream Creep, which premiered at Sundance and played SXSW. She teaches at Cornish College of the Arts.
